    Your feet will require slightly less extra space in any open-toed sandals as opposed to closed-toe shoes. In general, 5-8mm is plenty to ensure a good fit.

    The length and width of each sandal is carefully measured so you can easily select the most suitable size. Length is measured through the longest part of the sandal (usually heel to big toe), and width is measured across the widest part of the sandal, edge to edge. Please take into account that forefoot straps reduce the available width by approximately 5mm. 
    Length wise, your feet will require slightly less extra space in any open-toed sandals as opposed to closed-toe shoes. In general, if your foot shape closely matches the front of the sandal, an extra space of 5-8mm is plenty to ensure a good fit.
